can?t believe I?m writing this about ramen tsubaki with how popular it seems to be. We ordered several things and they were all... pretty mediocre especially the spring rolls, pot stickers and chicken and pork buns. I kept noticing this weird black and rustcolored stuff in my lettuce which I?ve never experienced from a restaurant before. I just ate around it and let it be eventhough it was on several pieces. Then I was served my kara age chicken bowl, ordered one for my daughter as well. I ate a fewpieces of chicken and started to stir it up when this cut piece of raw chicken showed up. We immediately told them and left. Myhusband said his ramen wasn?t even that good so he didn?t mind leaving. My stomach is currently having sharp pains and I feel sodisgusting ???? I feel like the number one rule is don?t serve raw chicken especially when they cut it up and it was clearlyvisible. There were only three or four other tables so they weren?t that busy either. I remember going here once before acouple years ago and after eating my stomach was having sharp pains immediately ???? Read more

I don?t like leaving reviews especially bad ones. I used to love ramen tsubaki, used to come here all the time with my family.... But after my recent experience I don?t want to come back. I ordered the chicken miso ramen and the noodles came raw and thechicken was cold. As I ate the chicken I got a piece that felt like it was still frozen and raw. Unfortunately I didn?t get apicture of it but this is the picture of the noodles it?s self which were uncooked in the middle? I?m extremely disappointed inthe food quality this time around. As me and my table ate or tried to eat of what we could we just kept experiencing more andmore issues. Our server was kind yet didn?t know much about the menu, I feel as if he might be new and that?s okay but for thekitchen to come out the kitchen and answer a phone call right behind me and be obnoxiously loud when me and my table are tryingto eat is very rude. And Im not exaggerating, the cook was literally a foot away from my chair being loud and obnoxious. I usedto love the restaurant but this time I felt unwelcomed and the food was sub par, the noodles and chicken were raw, I would liketo say I?d come back and give a second chance but unfortunately I will be going some place else and I?d advise others to do soas well Read more

I could be a bit unfair but I have had a lot of ramen and vegan specific ramen. My meat eating friend agreed though. It was... ?fine, a bit on the bland side. The broth needed something more. Granted I have had ramen all over Asia, but it could have beenbetter. Read more

EDIT: it is with some sadness that our family posts this, but it was such egregiously poor service/handling of the situation... that the ownership/others should know. On February 6th we ordered two appetizers and two entrees. One of the appetizers cameout over an hour and twenty minutes after we had arrived, just as we were packing up to leave. The restaurant would not refundthe appetizer and so we were forced to pay for it. To top it off, it was an item that is only best served hot and immediatelyconsumed, so we were forced to throw it away. This was quite disappointing -- I've never eaten a restaurant where they expectyou to pay for an appetizer that took nearly 1.5 hours to prepare. We attempted to speak with the server about it and werequickly rebuffed. OTHER NOTES: Recent reviews make a note of poor customer service. While we were eating, a number ofcustomers came in, waiting around for service, and left after 10 minutes. We had to ask to have our water glasses refilled. All this and the restaurant wasn't busy or understaffed, there were maybe three tables with customers at them. Lastly, as Iwent to the restroom to wash my hands, there was a worker sleeping in the noodle preparation room. I have to believe that thisrestaurant was either sold or the ownership no longer takes an active role in managing it. OLD REVIEW: Our family really enjoysTsubaki and have been going since they opened. Having lived in Japan, it reminds us of the food and a little of the culture. The owner is usually on hand and it's a pleasure to speak Japanese with another person. The food is really good! Highlyrecommended. Read more
