This place has really good food, especially in the A.M. There is a skinny cook, a white guy with a huge afro... and man can he... burn... he males the best scrambled eggs I ever had at a waffle house. Read more
OMGoooooooooooosh! This is the perfect place for Breakfast or quick meal or just to hang out with friend and families. Old... fashioned Waffle House, like a movie set in "Men in Black" ... just bring us back to O'Good days. I stopped by for breakfast at 05:49 in the morning. They were only doing takeout orders, and when asked if they did sit down... service they indicated not till 07:00, and our grill was down and it would be another 20-30 minutes before they could cook. Theyoung girl was very combative when asked just a few clarifying questions. Needless to say, I won?t be stopping at the WaffleHouse on Ramsey street any longer. And the girl also indicated the manager didn?t leave any dish washing soap, so the nextcustomers could be given dirty plates to eat off of. Walked right in, was seated & the waitress (Lynn?) came right over. The tables, & floor was clean. Had not they been, I would've... walked out having drove 380 miles. But THE COOK WAS AWESOME!!! My eggs, grits, ham, & bacon was cooked to PERFECTION!!! Can'trecall his name but keep that young man cooking with a raise (Ramsey St).
