Excellent service and flavor. We had the NY strip and swapped the fries for vegetables and it was amazing. The steak was cooked... to perfection and the vegetables were bold and the perfect pairing. They really brought out the flavor of the steak. My husbandhad the lamb and loved it. Unique and bold cocktails topped it off. Would absolutely recommend and come back again. Read more
We went on a Wednesday and it was fairly empty. Charcuterie board was average. Beet salad had an odd presentation with a line... of dressing on the side. The NY strip with fries was robust and good. Our waitress kept asking a lot of questions, we wereinterrupted several times during our dinner conversation. Read more
It was just okay. This was the second time here and it wasn't great. The food combinations are over the top "inventive", but the... prices are just ridiculous now. We paid $56 for the Halibut, which was the Fresh Catch of the day and didn't include theupcharge for splitting the dish and another for omitting peas andcreplacing them w three asparagus pieces. It was good, but waspresented tepid with a giant, slimy leek on purple potatoes. Our friend had the Crispy Skin Salmon and she loved it. My husbandhad the Pasta with Lamb Bolognese, which he said was good, but not memorable and our friend had the Shrimp and Grits. We wantedespresso or Cappuccino after dinner, but they don't have a machine. Our server was pleasant, but extremely nervous. She spilledwine all over the table with each pour, but maybe she was new. Best meal I've had in 10 years. The oysters were fresh, shucked well, and the bottle with dropper for the mignonette was clever.... I had the shrimp risotto - I'd put this up against Gordon Ramsay's all day. My wife had the halibut with purple pureed potatoesand that was wonderful as well. Relaxed atmosphere and service was exceptional (Anthony). We were celebrating my wife's birthdayand it was a meal we won't soon forget.
