This place is fantastic and their Happy Hour Menu is very cheap. It is on the intercostal and from its patio you can enjoy... watching the boats go by. Both the staff and the food are very good. There is a very nice atmosphere, from families to groupsof friends. Honestly one of the best places on the island. 100% recommended. Read more
We arrived before 5pm, so we were able to pick our own spot on the deck. We walked through the inside which seemed a bit... warm/stuffy, so we were happy to sit outside. Nice live music. Server was kind. We ordered the seafood platter for two and itwas plenty! Scallops were very good. We ordered sautéed, and our friends ordered fried. The wait was long and a little confusing-half the tables inside were empty and the tables outside seemed to be a mix of seat... yourself vs sat by hostess. Maybe they are short on staff at the moment. The outside bar is super convenient so you can grabdrinks while waiting. Regardless, all the employees were very friendly and helpful. My daughter and I went to down under for dinner on the last day of vacation. I wanted to try somewhere new since we?ve been to... that beach multiple times. And I was really wanting some raw oysters and other seafood. The oysters were cheaper than otherrestaurants locally, they were small. Not really what I was hoping for. I don?t know what kind of fish I got on the seafoodplatter but I didn?t care for it. But the scallops were huge! And the best I?ve ever ate. And the views of the location, gosh Iloved that. They had a live band which was okay but we were sat right next to them, making it very hard to talk to each other orthe waiter as it was so loud. The mixed drink I got was very good. Fried shrimp here is tremendous! Perfectly seasoned breading, and the shrimp is sweet and not tiny. I also got a fried crab cake... which was good, could have been better, but the shrimp more than made up for it. Great hush puppies too. Read more
