This used to be a solid 4 Star until the original owners sold and moved to a larger place with a new name. The menu remained but... not the kitchen. They trade on location and cuteness but the lack of effort has become embarrassingly obvious. Read more

What a delightful place. Downtown but tucked away from the throngs, great ambiance. If you like amazing food, at a good price, ... go to Lulu's. We had the moules,to begin with, and they where the best that we've eaten in a very long time. The Po boy oysterswe're just perfect and my crab cake delicious.The wine pours are also generous. This place was cute and quaint. It had a New Orleana feel! We walked onto a beautiful patio area and then into a small indoor... section for tables. Since it was the heat of the day we sat inside. We were the only customers and our lovely waitress made usfeel so welcome and accommodated for. When we ordered sweet tea, she even brought us out an extra cup filled with ice sinceshe knew it was hot outside and wanted to make sure that we had iced cold beverages. She was very knowledgeable about the menu,even down to how the plates were plated! Our drinks were never halfway empty due to her impeccable service. I ordered the smallplate with the crab cake. I would say it was pretty small for being a stand alone dish, otherwise it was delicious and the crabwas well cooked. My husband ordered a mushroom sandwich and asked to have chicken breast added.
