What an absolutely beautiful place. I was met with grace and comfort and the Detroit symphony orchestra playing live in the... background speakers was an amazing relaxing experience. EVERY piece of food was heaven and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place toanyone wanting to afternoon tea. We had a fabulous lunch at the tearoom today! Our friend had a mystery trip planned and we had so much fun! The atmosphere was... delightful and the food was fabulous! Scones, soup, yummy salad, tea sandwiches and two great desserts?apple spice cake and afruit compote. The tea was hot and my favorite. I haven?t had as wonderful tea experience in a long time. The afternoon tea was delicious! The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating to dietary restrictions - they made me... special vegetarian sandwiches based off of their pre-fix menu (whereas most places don't give that extra touch) and they hadgluten-free options for my friend. The atmosphere and decor were relaxing and cozy. I also felt the price was appropriate forthe level of service we had and I would definitely come back again. Read more
