I ordered from this place through a delivery app on a Saturday morning. The catfish tastes like their grease should be changed... or cleaned. The waffles are too soft/soggy for me and they didn?t send any butter or syrup. If I needed to request it, itshould be listed. However, I would argue that because they sent hot sauce, salt, pepper, napkins, and plastic ware without arequest. The shrimp and grits was a bowl of grease. After I stirred it, they were a little better, but they are too soupy formy liking. I literally had to add bread crumbs to thicken them. Very small sausage pieces in it and maybe 3 shrimp; nothinglike the pic on the app. I might give them another try because I did see other menu items that I wouldn?t mind giving a try. Read more
I give 5 stars every blue moon. Here I had no complaints at all. I had 9 people in my party and it wasn't too long before we sat... down. The food came out quick and timely and was delicious and flavorful and it's one of the only places around that has purebeef breakfasts. Waited a half an hour to order, then 45 minutes for the food. Waitress never gave us silverware had to wait for her to bring it!... When we finally began to eat she came and asked were we done with the syrup to give to another table, we hadn?t even used ityet! Only 3 staff members. A server/ bar tender, a cook and unknown. Tablet screens used as menus were dirty, one screen had what... appeared to be jelly on the screen. Server didn?t take drink orders (we had to mention it) Seemed to be a lot of people in /outpossibly friends/family. Salt/pepper shakers were dirty. I ordered catfish and grits and my BF ordered Pancakes/Eggs (scrambledNO cheese) /Bacon. Catfish was small, grits were good. Eggs came out runny with cheese. No syrup provided. No ice in beverages(orange juice and a kool aid). Cook did thank everyone dining in for their patience while sipping an alcoholic beverage and agun on his hip?so I guess that was nice.
