My wife and I had a wonderful meal and experience at the Mount Burgess Dining Room at Emerald Lake Lodge. Chad, the dining and... beverage director could not have been more helpful in getting us a lakeview table, and in sharing his thoughts about the menuitems. Jordan, our server, was friendly and efficient. She really paced the meal nicely, and was quick to fill the waterglasses. Compliments to the chef, he could not have prepared our meals any better. My wife had the free range chicken (one ofChad's recommendations) and it was superb; succulent, fresh, hot. And, it came in a stew-like bowl with lots of potatoes,veggies, and tasty broth. I had the salmon (one of Jordan's recommendations), and I couldn't have asked for a better meal. Ilove salmon, but I'm always a little leery to order it out, because sometimes you get that fishy taste that is hard to getbeyond. This fish was cooked perfectly; hot out of the pan, but not at all overcooked. And, really flavorful. It came on a bedof arugula, with an assortment of potatoes and veggies. Might have been a tad too overseasoned for my taste, but overall it wasan excellent, and healthy meal after a day of hiking. Cocktails and wine were equally good. Read more

My husband and I had dinner here all three nights we stayed at the beautiful Emerald Lake. The food was absolutely delicious.... Prices were comparable to other places in the area. The drinks were also phenomenal. We had the pleasure of being served allthree nights by Jordan B, who gave us excellent service. She was very friendly, professional and gave some localrecommendations. Chad also made some great drinks! Highly recommended for a great meal with a beautiful view. Read more
We've been here 5 times in the past year and half and every single time the food, service and view are outstanding. My husband's... all time favorite is the elk striploin and we also tried their Buffalo ribeye (pictured here) halibut, duck breast (picturedhere) and all delicious & tastefully presented. We ate here several times with our family while staying at Emerald Lake Lodge for our wedding. Chef Valerie and her team did not... disappoint, the food and service was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the buffalo ribeye and duck breast. There was a greatvariety of unique dishes available many which feature game meat. The portions were generally quite generous. My onlyconstructive criticism was that the charcuterie board did leave much to be desired, the cured game meats were delicious but Iwould have expected larger portions and I believe the dish could benefit from some more variety.
