We came here for a late mid-afternoon lunch to celebrate our anniversary, and had the pleasure of Terry being our waitress. She... told us the current specials going on, and I tried the "Hocus Pocus" Halloween themed cocktail, which was absolutely to diefor!! The clam chowder is thick and delicious New England style. The caesar salad is perfection. The butter and rolls are hotand fluffy and chewy (getting hungry writing this!). The ribeye steak cut with just my fork, like butter. The sockeye salmontasted fresh. The Manhattan was well done. This was one of the best dining experiences we have had, and we truly thank ourwaitress for being attentive and answering all questions we had. Thank you Tatoosh Grill! Normally I enjoy this place but this evening I got the worst service. My main came several minutes before my mother's, I had the... tenderloin Oscar style, she had the crab salad. If I had waited for her to get her salad before I ate my meal would have gottencold, in what world does it take longer to make a salad than a steak? Also I was very disappointed with the portion size of mymeal, for almost fifty dollars you'd expect to have decent amount to eat. Read more
I ate here a while ago and was pretty disappointed. But this time it was wonderful. It may have had to do with the fact that... some important administrators from the Puyallup Tribe were dining in that night. We were a part of 6 and everyone was impressedwith their food. Walked in was greeted and sat, not many people, but no one ever came to take an order or anything, so I got up and left. Hostess... saw me leaving and didn't say anything, I said "No one ever came" and said where were you sitting? (She sat me 10min prior) thensaid well have a good night and tapped something on the computer? So I can only rate the service that far. Read more
