Seriously the best burger I've had in a few years. Got the double cheese. It was perfect, sauce is great. I can't wait to come... back and try something else. Gotta edit this here. I've had several burgers since I went. NOTHING COMPARES! IM MAKING THIS ADATE DINNER SPOT! I saw this photo I took out of haste kick up. Can we all acknowledge its not the prettiest photo of aburger... but... The cheese is perfectly melted, not cooked/ burned. The lettuce is green, actual green lettuce. Not a peice ofclear or shredded lettuce (it's easier for a restaurant or fast food place to throw on chopped or butt ends of lettuce) thefries are way out of focus (I suck, I was hungry) but solid thick cut fries cooked very nicely. Just so happen to stumble across this restaurant as I was in the shopping center, and have to say that it?s Fillmore?s little... hidden gem. We ordered the chicken kabob with rice and hummus -chicken was juicy and flavorful! The Fillmore burger packed apunch of flavor -had a fried egg, tons of avocado, grilled onions and bell pepper. Absolutely delicious. Had the shrimp fiestaroll as an appetizer and I have to say, it was very good! Overall the place is small but has tons of character. Dont write many reviews however, i would feel i would do the world disservice by not taking the time to write one for this... place!! im an asian food loving North Carolinian! so needless to say when i visited CA for the first time i felt like i was infood heaven! I was determined to eat some sort of asian dish from different restaurants at least once a day and all of it waspretty good. but nothing in particular really stood out. But the one place i could NOT get off my mind was Daniels. i had thesushi wings; i know it sounds like a crazy combo but they were fantastic! Then we ordered a couple of rolls and im telling youive had sushi from pretty much every major city on east coast from nyc, dc, charlotte, releigh, all over Atlanta, and of coursea lot here in CA but Daniels is by far the best tasting and freshed ive ever put in my mouth! Daniel?s is always a hit. The food is amazing and I will say they probably make the best burgers in town. We got two burgers,... the Fillmore Burger and the Hawaiian Burger.
