I was very hesitant to eat Mexican food in Flagstaff. From my experience in this great state, the further north you go from... Central Phoenix, the worse the Mexican food gets. Following the recommendation of my boss, I gave it a whirl. I have to say, this is extremely legitimate Mexican food. The refried beans were some of the best I?ve ever eaten. The little bowl of cabbagethat everyone gets at the table was surprisingly delicious. I have no idea what it was. I ordered the camarones verdes. Again, one of the best shrimp plates I?ve ever eaten. The tomatillo sauce poured over everything was perfect. My friend got the tacosand said they were amazing, specifically the shredded beef and the way it was seasoned. I will definitely stop here every time Idrive through Flagstaff. Read more

The food tasted great! We got a takeout order of chicken and steak fajitas for two. We had a nicely sized platter of chicken,... steak, and onions with two platters of rice, refried beans, guac, sour cream, and salsa. Everything was good in my opinion. Thefajitas were super flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned with cumin among other spices. The rice, beans, and other platteritems were also very well balanced. Each part had its own unique savory, rich, or bright flavor profile. Nothing overpowering.Definitely a great place to get a taste of Mexican cuisine. It did make me feel thirsty after eating though, so the saltcontent might be high. Price was also around $40 so it wasn?t too cheap. Sure was tasty though! Read more

I showed up and put my name and number down for a table. I will get called in 15-25 min wait. A hour later I called to check... availability and was seated at a dirty table. Asked for a rag and cleaned it ourselves. Got chips and salsa. Waited andadditional 15 mins for a drink order. Waited an additional 10 for a food order. Waited over 40 mins for the food. Won't be back.Fajitas were good, burritos were great. It's a shame the service wasn't too great. No refills were offered. Loved the food Iwish it had better service otherwise it would be a 5/5. Very busy, very popular, and for good reason. Your standard Tex-Mex options and all done well with very friendly staff. It was... VERY busy so a reservation might be a good idea (we waited about 30 minutes). We split this "dinner for two" Tapatio Flaming, served literally flaming! It easily can feed four, and we were starving!
