The chef knows he is doing here. I am completely biased because he is my husband. But I can tell you this boy can cook. He is... classically trained in French cooking and was the sous chef at the Cottage place before it closed. If you want melt in yourmouth beef, you need to come here because Navajo beef can't be beat. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent wine list. Best Fine diningin the Flagstaff area. Overall the experience and food was good. But the soup of the day was a crab chowder and I had some shell in mine. So they... remade it for us and I bit into an even larger piece of shell in the second bowl and hurt my tooth. I don't expect that kind ofcarelessness when I am paying a premium for the experience. The steaks were good. Definitely high quality beef but my $90LongBone (tomahawk) ribeye was a little on the dry side and a bit too rare in the middle. It was good, just not good enough tomake me want to get again. The side dishes were good and came in large portions which was nice for my family to share. Ourservice was great. Read more

Surprised to find a high-end restaurant in the hinterland of Arizona. The filet mignon, ordered medium, was perfect. Vegetables... were grilled and not overdone - asparagus was slightly crunchy. My wife said here chicken piccata was the best she has ever had.Service was superb - pleasant and attentive but not intrusive. All of the staff here appears to be highly trained. Read more
