I?ve been coming back here since 2010. Every chance I get. Anyone traveling through Flatonia, Tx. I-10 must stop here. From... their beef jerky to sausage, and my favorite the brisket, sweet tea, pecan pie. It?s really good bbq. You will not bedisappointed, I highly recommend. Let me start by saying that the food, what little there was, was very tasty. However, don't expect much for a $14 plate. I had a... rib plate. I got 2 small St. Louis cut ribs, some sauce with a few beans in it, and a small scoop of Cole slaw. I did receive agenerous portion of onions, pickles, and bread though. My wife got a chopped beef potato. Don't expect a traditional bakedrusset potato. This was a boiled yellow potato mostly chopped up with chopped beef poured over it. Tasty as it was, it's nottraditional BBQ. She too received a generous portion of pickles, onions and bread. Drink sparingly. You get a 20oz drink andsadly, no refills available. Maybe they were having an off day, or had new help in the prep area, I don't know. But for all thegood reviews, this was not impressive. I don't think well waste the almost hour drive again. Read more
