I really like coming here when I am in town. This place is a nice comforting atmosphere and friendly staff. The food here is... good, warm and filling. And if you are like me and you don?t eat bread, still at least take one bite of those hush puppies. Read more
I am just passing by and craving for some seafood dishes.So, I went and search for a place and this is the first one that I saw... online.The place is nice and the staff especially the servers are all awesome! The food here is so delicious and it is worthevery penny!! I Suggest getting the calamari fingers it was so soft and tender! Not like some other calamari that is hard andrubbery. First time here, I heard about it from some locals. We started off with calamari fingers and crab stuffed shrooms. The calamari... fingers were served with sweet chili sauce which was a good pairing actually, we are normally used to marinara or cocktail. Thecalamari was cooked perfectly. The crab stuffed mushrooms needs some work though. They were very watery and it tasted like theystewed crab water. I wouldn't get that again. My wife had the blackened mahi mahi and i had the soft shell crab. The mahi wasextremely good and very generous portions. The crab was very good as well, very tender. I tried the key lime pie for dessert andit seemed to be home made based on the crust, very inconsistent thickness (which i dont mind). However the crust was very softand the pie itself wasn't as tart as i would love to see. It was still pretty good though. The service was very good, the ladieswho served us were extremely friendly and nice. My tea never went empty without having a new glass next to the old one. Priceswere very good. I stopped in for lunch. I had the blackened shrimp with broccoli casserole. It was fantastic! I sat in the bar area because... there was a long wait. The waitress working the bar area was extremely nice and always checked on her tables. Blonde with longponytail. Very sweet woman. I would highly recommend the broccoli casserole as a side. Read more
