If you like prim and proper and immaculate restaurants, don't go here. On the other hand, if you love good Cajun cooking and... barbecue then this is the place for you. The jambalaya is delicious, the collard green side was well seasoned and tasty, and thecornbread was moist. Definitely will go again! Read more
We visited after a walk at the park and will be back! Stuffed pepper special was heaven! Cajun rice perfectly seasoned and... prepared. Brisket was delicious and smokey. BBQ sauce was sweet with a little heat to finish. Exceptional! Owner checked on us.Nice guy. They grow their own hot peppers! We loved everything. Was a... little apprehensive because honestly never eaten at a "B" sanitation rated restaurant, but the food was better than every otherBBQ restaurant we have tried in the Asheville area.
