We have eaten at or ordered to-go many times from Lollygaggers and we have never been disappointed. The service has always been... quick and the food hot. The staff is always friendly. Tonight was no exception and even surprised us. We ordered their pretzelplatter to-go, two to be exact and we were completely shocked by how much food came with it not to mention the pretzel was over10" across and were crunchy on the outside and soft inside. When you order to-go they package it as diy platter. The plattercame with pulled pork, Mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw. The beans were amazing with peppers and sausage and the Macand cheese extra cheesy. Pulled pork was smoky and great just plain although they serve it with two different sauces. We were here a few weeks ago and I ordered Alligator bites and a salad. This is what I got. I ask the waitress if this was a... joke and said I was not accepting it. She said she would take care of it. What she brought back the same thing only a few more.I have never been more insulted. This must have been the scraps in the bottom of the bag. So, we've had some good meals & take-out here, but not yesterday. Ordered their special shrimp, scallop & clam basket. The pix... on their Facebook page looked great. Lightly breaded scallops & shrimp fried just right. But we don't like clams, and only a fewfries. When I called I said no clams, can you add a few more shrimp instead? No, we can't do that. Ok, but no clams please. Canyou also add just a few extra crispy fries, we don't want many. This seemed to confuse them. What we ended up with was a basketof only a very few over-fried shrimp & scallops, and lots of under-fried potatoes. Absolutely awful take out dinner, & theycharged us full price, without a third of the shellfish they charge for the special. When we got the dinner home & realized howbad this takeout was, I called to express our disappointment. I asked to have the manager call me back. She never did. Verydisappointing experience. Great food had a great price with friendly staff. People probably read this and wonder why I only gave four stars. I spend... about $75 a week here. I am a loyal patron I guess you could say. Was really disappointed when I called up the day beforeThanksgiving the place in order for a hundred wings and I asked for a small discount, as the girl on the phone knew who I wasbecause I'm in there so often and told me that they don't give any kind of discounts whatsoever on food. I figured at least if Iordered a hundred wings, as often as I spend money at this establishment, that they could have charged me for 80 wings andgiving me a hundred as a thank you for your loyalty.
