I’ll start with the positives. My server Reagan was top notch and the gyoza was decent. That’s the only reason it wasn’t... one star. After that it’s mostly downhill. While sitting at my table an employee cleaning off a booth behind me slung ice onme and didn’t even acknowledge it, the soup bowl had a hair on it, the salad was submerged in ginger dressing, The chickenteriyaki bento box may as well have been a lunchable, The chicken looked like a microwaved chicken cutlet sliced into stripsand tossed in a puddle of great value teriyaki sauce, The cali roll tasted like it was from a gas station, the pickled gingerwas dry (how is that even possible), the rice was neither brown, white or yellow, but a weird beige, so that raised somequestions and the other item tasted like imitation crab passed off as scallops. And all of this happened between 6:00 pm and7:00 pm which should be prime time for dinner. 3/10 won’t be returning. Read more
Sure had a fun time. Great atmosphere and food.
So, after a 45 min wait, we were finally seated. I ordered the fillet and scallops. The cook came out and he was nice and tried... to be entertaining. I had no problem with that. He begins cooking and coughs the whole time. He’s wearing a mask but it’sbelow his nose. The rice was yellow, not usually as good as white rice. It was rushed and didn’t have a great taste…. Ittasted undercooked and had globs where it wasn’t cooked properly. The fillet was decent but not cooked per my request. Therewas hardly any seasoning to the food at all. The scallops were horrible, I could only eat one. The yum yum sauce was thinnerthan my water and had no taste. I guess Kobe has spoiled me, or it was just a bad experience. The food was delicious. I tried it for the 1st time a few months ago and knew that I wanted to take my Daddy there to eat. We... went this past Sat 7/4/22 I asked our waitress what she would suggest since we didn't know much about the menu and she verypatiently explained everything we needed to know to make a decision ? I ordered the Chicken Hibachi Lunch plate for $12.49 andDaddy ordered Steak Hibachi Lunch plate for $14.99 they both came with a small salad and soup. The dressing they make in housewas very good and our meals were delicious. I ate as much as I could and brought the rest home and ate the rest for dinner. Iwish I lived closer because I have been craving it every day ???? we loved our food and our waitress! She was so friendlyand attentive.
