New place in Florissant. I had the pleasure of visiting here last Saturday with my father. The inside is quaint with seating for... about four different parties. The staff was amazing and attentive to give recommendations. We tried several different items onthe menu. The portions are just right. I will say I was very impressed with their spring rolls. I seldom find places thatactually put fresh pieces of mint inside. When I make these at my house I do the same thing, so that really left the mark withme in a very positive way. Great Food!! We've picked up carry-out from here several times and I am always impressed with the great, friendly service I... receive, plus the food is AMAZING! I am consistently impressed by how well they do everything. The menu, the service, the waythe food is cooked and the way it is presented are all top-notch. Sometimes at other places, carry-out isn't plated as nicely asif you dine-in, but not here. Everything is pretty! You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. Kristen was soo sweet and attentive! Intimate, clean, fast service. If you like the spot house, this is better! I?ve never had... fresher crab rangoons in my life and the pho was perfection after a rough day I wanted to cry. I could actually taste ginger inthe sauce for the crab rangoons. GROSS!!! Not only was the food TERRIBLE, it WAS NOT prepared to order like the name "The Kitchen" would infer. If I could give... this place zero starts, I would. I ordered Bourbon Chicken and the chicken was so HARD, it looked and felt as if it had beensitting on a counter for HOURS before it was served to me. The bourbon sauce would not even absorb into the chicken. The potstickers were FULL of unnecessary grease and had been sitting as well. I'm a food connoisseur and I can tell when it's beenfreshly prepared. I returned my order because it was a complete waste of time and good money. They didn't want to refund mymoney the same day with a receipt! The first lady that took my order called to another lady in the back who was EXTREMELY rudeand disrespectful when I declined to have her remake my order. She went so far as to say to the other lady, "Get her receipt soshe can get out!" I remained respectful as she argues with me to try to convince me to let her remake my food to change my mindin front of new customers. Who would be silly enough to let someone with a HATEFUL attitude prepare anything for them a secondtime? She needs a lesson in professionalism and in Asian Cooking! HELP! North County doesn't need another restaurant withterrible food and WORSE customer service. Plus, the refund was weird; it was if they are recording your transactions in theirphone ledger. I'm so glad I didn't just keep the food because this experience gave me the opportunity to see how much theydon't value hard working customers in their community. Read more
