They went up on their prices and cut the amount of the serving in half. My wife just got a shrimp soup that she has gotten... several times. The soup is good but they literally gave her 2 shrimp in a small container of soup for $15. I don?t mind payingfor value but there was little value here. Unfortunately they lost a repeat customer by their choices and way they handled theinteraction with a previously happy customer. ???? Read more
Meals are overpriced even if they have good sized portions, but you?ll pay $15 for a small portion of mediocre food. The peas... and carrots are the main vegetables in the fried rice and they resemble frozen or canned veggies. They didn?t even ask us forthe spice level so I had to ask for chili paste and soy sauce- we received 2 packets of soy sauce (they don?t even have bottlesof soy sauce yet it?s $15-20 a meal?). Ordered an Egg plant dish for lunch pick up from their online ordering service on a Monday. As part of the online order, it gave... option to add Tofu, which we selected. Picked up the lunch, came back, and we see that there's no egg plant in the dish, justTofu. Called the restaurant about it, the person who picked up the phone passed it on to the manager (presumably). She looks upand says 'you didn't order egg plant, you ordered just tofu'. While on the phone, went back to the website and traced the exactordering steps, and the order does show egg plant with tofu as an extra. What we realized is that the ordering system omittedthe egg plant part when sending it to the restaurant. Tried to explain this to the owner, but the lady wasn't taking any of it.She kept insisting 'you ordered just tofu!', and not acknowledging that their ordering system might be at fault. At this point,I requested her to refund for the dish, but she was again rude and telling to come return the dish in order to get therefund. This is one of the worst customer service experiences ever. Pretty overpriced given the portions. The pineapple curry came with mostly pineapples, not much else. I guess it's in the name?... Tom Yum is very much on the strong side. Ended up diluting it a bit since it was so sweet/sour/salty. I can't help but imaginethis might be done to mask the fact that it is lacking in other departments - if I'm going to pay $15 for a soup and pay extrafor shrimp I'd expect a little more than 3 tiny shrimp and a couple mushrooms in there.
