Intimate restaurant with good food. Appears to be a family owned small business and we really enjoyed our meal. Service was a... bit slow, as they were pretty busy. However, our server was adorable and fun, quick to make a recommendation and took a momentto visit at each table - this made up for the delay in our water refills. The water is served in a carafe and poured intohammered stainless cups where it stayed very cold. Perfect on such a hot day. Other items were also served in beautiful hammeredstainless. I ordered the butter curry (chicken) mild and it was delicious. The cheese naan was also very good while the garlicnaan wasn’t very flavorful. The rice was very plain, I did expect seasonings and spices but there were none. However, once youtake a bite with the curry, it didn’t matter because the curry had great flavor. My husband ordered the chicken vindaloo andsaid it had a nice kick to it. He really enjoyed it. My primary disappointment was the size of the entrees. There was a nicehelping of basmati rice but not as large a helping of the chicken dishes as we are accustomed from other local Indianrestaurants. That being said, we will plan to visit again. If you like Indian food I would definitely recommend this place. We were a group of 8 people and we ordered a few dishes. The... highlight is the speed which the food was served. I thought they may have reheated the food, I was wrong every food was sodelicious. We requested our food to be less spicy and that's what we got. The service was excellent. Need to put a word forlekshmi she was super nice and efficient. I would recommend to all try this place. It's a bit on the pricey side compared toothers but it's good quantity. The Indian food is pretty good here. I know the other reviews rave about it but I don’t think it’s the best I’ve had. The... samosas at the India Bazaar are tastier in my opinion than the ones here. Portions are good. The lamb curry was very good but Ido with there was more meat. The chicken jafrezi was good although I thought there would be more vegetables in the curry butthere are only peppers and onions. The tikka masala was good but a little sweet tasting. I’ve never tasted one this sweetbefore. I don’t normally like it sweet but it was ok. I will say that we took home the leftovers and it tasted better the nextday. The naan was not very good. It wasn’t fluffy. It didn’t taste like it was made with yogurt. The roti was ok but notnoteworthy. The restaurant wasn’t busy for in-dining on a Saturday which was surprising. Very bad customer service. We went there for their Sunday breakfast buffet and they was no food at all. We had to wait 10-15 min... for them to bring each of the items in the buffet. And when complained instead of saying sorry they were asking what botheringus. I can believe what kind of people these folks are! Please see the pic below.
