Great food. Great atmosphere. Extensive scotch and bourbon selection. Good craft beer selection. Great service from my server... at the table. At the time that I went it was seat yourself but there wasn't a sign stating that and I stood at the hostesscounter for over 5 minutes before any of the three employees looking right at me said anything. This is a wonderful restaurant. From the atmosphere to the food, it is all spectacular! They have a ton of outdoor seating and... the bar opens opens the patio! I had the fried gulf shrimp and it was cooked perfectly! The friend I was with and the Jalapeñocreme based soup (sorry don't remember the actual name) and it was phenomenal. We went for Valentine’s Day and it was absolutely amazing. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak and potatoes. Our... servers name was Maggie and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was so speedy and had great communication! She literally made thenight go so smoothly and we felt so cared for. The tavern is very lucky to have her and I highly recommend a raise if one hasnot already been given. After the pandemic it’s really hard to find people who want to work let alone actually care about thepeople they serve and she is definitely a diamond in the rough! She was so kind and very attentive definitely will return withonly one request, that we have Maggie as our server!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! Read more
