I had bbq brisket asparagus and mashed potatoes. My daughter had salmon tacos. I though both dishes were really well executed.... The brisket had a tasty flavor with a bright bbq sauce. We came here for lunch at the recommendation of a local business owner. It did not disappoint! Ambiance- mood lighting and... industrial, but the large family picture lends a hint of home. Oldies but goodies played on the speakers. Tyler was our server.Attentive and helpful in choosing menu items. Onto the food. We ordered the blackberry mojito, brisket sliders, Kobe beefburger, and pecan crusted salmon salad. Blackberry mojito - smooth, seems to be made with real blackberry juice. BrisketSliders were plated beautifully. Between the bread and the onion rings, I could have used more sauce, but there was additionalsauce on the plate. The sweet and sour pickle was a nice refreshing touch. Pecan crusted Salmon salad- filling for a salad! Iliked all of the elements. I could have done without the pecan crusting on the salmon; didn?t seem to add much, but that is morepersonal preference. They did also bring out a large serving of dressing. Glad they let me do the honors as I only used 1/3rd ofit. The greens tasted crisp! The burger came out on a larger roll-style breads my husband loved the French fries and said theburger was ?good.? Well I think I might have found my new favorite place in Flower Mound. For starters you must try The Bread! The bread hot and... toasty with lots monzerlla cheese. It made your mouth water just by looking at it! The Pot Roast was cooked to perfection. Weknew we had to get in our greens so we ordered the Blackend Chicken Cobb Salad with the salad dressing adding just the rightkick to it. Never had fried cheesecake until now, but I liked it. I could have had a little extra sauce on it, but it was verygood. Can't wait to go back and try Brunch on a Sunday! Read more
