The place was a miss for us because of the pizza! The pizza, well, we barely could eat it because all of the toppings even... including the marinara,cheese, and toppings continually fell off! Didn?t matter if we were eating it with our hands, cutting itwith a fork, or using the spatula to lift it onto our plate-the toppings kept falling off! Since this was our first time, Iasked the waitress if this was normal. She stated the pizza gets really sweaty in the wood burning oven which causes the doughto get ?limp? (her exact words). She stated next time we need to order it ?well done? to combat this issue. I do see some otherreviews about the floppy/limp pizza as well. The wings with Alabama white sauce were big and yummy! It came with an order of 8which was very generous! Service was fine. Atmosphere is nice. The place is smaller than I expected. We went on august 27th at dinner time when the outside temp is 82 degrees and it was hot in the restaurant. The table next to use brought a handheldfan. Loved everything about this place. It is situated in the downtown Flowery Branch area. It also shares a building with Beer Me.... You have the opportunity to go back and forth between Peyton's Pie and Beer Me in addition to enjoying the wine selection thatPeyton's Pie provides. The pizza itself is fantastic. It is more New York style yet a slightly different variation to the crust.They don't go overly crazy with different combinations but work to appeal to the local crowd. Let's be honest... it's hard to screw up a pizza. Most of us will eat cheap pizza and leave with a happy belly so what makes an... amazing pizza? I hope to find out over the next few weeks ???? I recently had a chance to stop by @peytonspieco in FloweryBranch which isn't far from where I live. It's located in the little downtown area across the railroad tracks, and although thearea can get busy, it is a nice and quiet area. I ordered the LOTS OF CHEESE pizza which has fresh mozzarella with smoked gouda,shredded mozzarella, parmessan, and basil. The crust and dough on this pizza was incredible but the pizza was unfortunately waytoo floppy and I didn't get any of the cheese taste I was hoping for ???? And yeeesss yes, before you come at me, I do know howto eat a pizza ???? I definitely see how this pizza has potential but it just lacked that flavor I needed for me to say it'sawesome. I also ordered some of their WOODFIRED CHICKEN WINGS with their ALABAMA WHITE SAUCE... now this, this is a winner!! Theflavor and the way the wings were cooked, it was just perfect. When I go back I have to try their Chipotle honey BBQ wings???? I've been wanting to comment on their service before I forgot about it... the server was nothing short of amazing. You'llleave happy with the level of service you are provided while visiting this establishment, no doubt. There aren't many tables asthe building is a bit on the small side but after I left I realized they also had tables outside. Parking can be tight in frontbut because of the way the streets and blocks are set up here, you can park around the corner and only be a minute or twoaway. I was disappointed with the pizza (23 bucks) but I told myself I would stop by again because their menu does look fun andthe wings were ???????? Never knew this place existed until today, but it was a surprisingly good find. Amazing service, fantastic food, and intimate... space. Priced similarly to other downtown boutique restaurants. I tried the meatball sandwich, and was floored by how well itstayed in place and tasted. My friend grabbed Nick's Current Favorite pizza and it was also an amazing choice. We will comeback! Read more

I wish Peyton?s was around in my days of living in downtown Flowery Branch. Sitting near the top of the new Main Street,... Peyton?s is a cozy little place with a very welcoming staff and even better brick oven pizza. They make a chewy, soft crust withthe perfect amount of char. They are very generous with the toppings and we enjoyed the diverse half-and-half pie (Pigs andOlives and Honey Chipotle BBQ). I?ll be sure to return back to Flowery Branch more often to try their other pizza options. Read more
