We made an appointment via email a few weeks prior since we wanted to make sure we could bring our kids (2 years old and 8 month... baby) normally omesake doesn?t allowed kids . They were super accommodating and allowed us to sit at the bar ! Waitress was verysweet and friendly. Overall we were impressed by the appetizers course part of the omesake . Majority of the sushi were good. Some were average but I would still recommend this place overall. We will be back next time we visit nyc ! Read more

We went for early bird omakase which is $58. It comes with one appetizer and eight piece of Nigiri sushi. Sushi was good but the... sushi rice was bit small for me. The portion was not enough for me so I had to order some more roll and nigiri. Food quality isall good but the price is a little bit high. We paid $130 per person. Read more

Went here for Valentine's Day and did their omakase. It was an amazing experience, with so many selections given to us during... the night. the kumomoto oyster, the tatare, foie Gras.. the servers were on point with beverages too. a decent sake list aswell! all in all, it was worth coming here! We were pleasantly surprised by this Japanese tapas shop in Flushing. To be honest we didn't have too high expectations. We were... just seeking for some sushi and it was cold outside. Oh my god we were blown away by the effort the chefs made. Many fresh fishpresented in artistic and chic manner. They are definitely going for some degree of fusion tapas bar and we downed a bottle ofexpensive sake. Not cheap. But definitely we left having had a great time. I guess similar presentation can be much moreexpensive in Manhattan and some of the non-mainstream chef's efforts have rough edges. But this was definitely a 5 starexperience. We'll return. I've always wanted to try Omakase. It's the type of meal where you leave everything up to the chef. Most restaurants that offer... this type of service are situated in Manhattan, but I found a hidden gem right in Flushing to take my wife out to. Therestaurant is located underground, when you enter, you have to go downstairs. When we got there, we were the only ones there, but a reservation could be handy, just in case. Between the omakase offerings, there were three tiers. I picked the top tierone, wanting to make most out of the experience. My wife and I also opted in for the sake tasting add on. Slowly, one by one,the chef gave us our order. From appetizer, to sushi, soup, and dessert. The experience of sitting at a sushi bar and witnessingthe sushi come to life from start to finish was truly something else. Eating here gets really expensive, so prepare yourself. There is a low tier omakase that they offer, but only if you're there early. Read more
