Lowlife bar was a great stop on our Folly Beach trip! As soon as we walked in we were listening to a band covering the Beatles.... The bands music was really loud but they were just finishing up their set so a couple songs later we could hear each other talkhaha the drinks were the best part! Wow, what a lovely find!! My husband and I were looking for a spot to grab drinks on a Friday night with our puppy. We came... across Lowlife Bar and we're able to walk right up and grab a corner spot at the outside bar. The employees were so welcoming ofus and our dog, he was loving all the attention he was getting! My husband highly recommends the Edmund's Oast Bound by TimeIPA. If you are a tequila fan, you have to try the Cowpoke. It was one of the best mixed drinks I've had! The atmosphere wasvery low-key and relaxed, we will be coming back for sure!! EDIT - We stopped here for dinner last night and the food wasincredible! I had the falafel burger and my husband had the double cheeseburger. We are burger lovers and keep a burger ranking.The cheeseburger took the number one spot on both our lists and I put the falafel burger at number 3. Absolutely delicious!! Read more
Nice little chill laid back beach bar. Not a huge drink menu but they've got all the basics covered as well as a good selection... of draft beer. Didnt get to try their food as I had a reso down the street at another spot but the options looked good.Bartenders were friendly and accommodating which makes all the difference at a place like that! The bar has a great beach vibe and live music inside with some outdoor seating. There isn't much parking available and the place... is a 'seat yourself' situation where you order at the bar. The drinks were all very good and there were plenty of food options.I'd go again. Read more
