This place came highly recommend. Stopped in and after 15 mins had to flag down a waitress (that wasnt ours), she was great and... got our drinks and took our order, after another 45 mins we still have not received our food. The ac is not working and it is 92degrees outside. The place is busy and lots of waitresses, but apparently no cooks. I will not be going back. This place has Amazing Ribs, and Onion Rings! N they actually turned me onto pickled beets (as a side) which I never tried n now... keep stocked at home. It's My Girlfriend and I's favorite dinner spot in the area. Read more
It has been 20 years since I've visited this restaurant. And it will be another 20 years (or more) before I go back. My wife... ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The ONLY thing she liked was the coleslaw. I tried some meatloaf, it wasVERY salty. So bad that she couldn't eat more than a few bites. I ordered the Taverna steak tips with mashed potatoes andbutternut squash. I ordered them "medium with some pink". What I got were burnt, crispy, charred tips with pink inside. Whateverseasoning and marinade they applied was not noticeable--the grilled beef flavor was barely noticeable. The chef substituted mybutternut squash with corn (without asking if there was something else I would like). As it turned out, the corn was the bestpart of my meal. We didn't eat much, so we ordered dessert. Our server raved about their homemade cake. The cake we received mayhave been homemade but not recently. It has clearly been frozen and stale. Our server was attentive. The restaurant was clean.The bathroom was clean. Our bill came to $85 (with tip $100) for a meal that we did not enjoy any of it. Maybe it was our mealselections, maybe not. I tried a dish with their name on it and was very disappointed. There are many other meal options to try.Maybe those would be better. But I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. It took 30 mins to get drinks. We watched everyone around us get a ton of attention, waitresses standing around and talking.... Finally a waitress helped us put in our order. 45 mins went by and there was no sign of our food. We ended up just leaving afterall that time with no food. Terrible experience. Read more
