Nice rustic eatery and beer/wine saloon. Snuck in for a Sunday breakfast, no wait. Great smoked meats, went with the brisket... which was melty good. Friendly mountain folk. Update 09-18-22 hoping all are safe with rain slowing down #mosquitofire. Oddlywe dined here 10 days before fire after hiking Western States at Michigan Bluff. Read more

This place is one of those restaurants that needs to cut down on the menu. Everything we had was "okay" instead of "great" I... could get the pizza at any cheap pizza place, the barbecue was well seasoned but too dry by about halfway through I didn't wantanymore and I've eaten an entire tri-tip in one sitting, the fries were much better than the rest of the food. I'd love to seethis place as a strictly barbecue restaurant or strictly a pizza place. I'd definitely cut out burgers and such from the menuas both Mega's Cafe and Brewmaster's Deli make really good versions. Pizza would be great as there is no other pizza place intown and good barbecue would make me come in at least once a week. You could probably get away with both barbecue and pizza ifyou made an amazing barbecue pizza. I'll eat here again just to support my local businesses and they could get better but it'snot too high on my list. Read more

What a shame we never got to taste the food. We ordered sliders and fries. After an hour wait i asked after our order and never... got an answer, The people that sat down after us got their pizza and finished it before I asked again. Granted it was very busybut when I complained I got gaslit. I said I'll pay for our beers and go elsewhere, she then preceeded to tell me it was afamily business and if I don't pay for my order it "Hurts my family. I slapped a 20 on the bar for 2 beers saying 'that shouldcover it' and left I guess the customer isn't always right at this "family establishment " Read more
