Excelent food, more than I expected.
You should eat here, maybe. I'm having to edit this review, tempted to give 3 stars. I eat here a lot, and I always eat the same... thing. It's what I do. And the last couple times the way the sandwich was made has been subpar. I worked in a restaurant, so Iknow the score. Sometimes specific people or shifts might be better than others. It's still a good place, and everyone usuallyseems nice enough, but there has been a noticable drop in quality recently. I hope the issue is resolved because it was alwaysone of my favorite go to places. Just fyi, my previous review was five stars and only said "you should eat here," I really likethe place, but food is a big deal, food made improperly can make people sick, and even if it's just made poorly as far as tasteit's expensive, if you're not rich, to eat out it has to be worth it. UPDATE: We gave this shop another go, and the sandwiches have been on point. I'm really satisfied with the change. OLD: We... generally enjoy Cheba Hut, but this particular location was just awful. One sandwich fell apart due to the amount of marinarasauce poured onto it, yet lacked much chicken at all for the Panama Red sandwich; the other sandwich tasted of nothing butonions, which was evidently the primary ingredient for my AK-47. I think we'll just stick to the other Cheba Hut establishments. Read more
I was at the restaurant recently with a friend, the food is good but the manager I think his name was Mike, was awful! He was... extremely aggressive to the staff and seemed upset at all of them, it made the atmosphere at the restaurant very tense, Iunderstand it?s a managers job to keep order but he was far too aggressive and me and I?m sure other customers could notice. Iwould appreciate not hearing a manager scream at his employees while I?m having my lunch. Read more
