I have been coming here for 23 years, always good food. didn't get the chance this time, due... to poor service at the hostess stand hostess stops with me mid conversation and gives the table in question to the peoplebehind me. I used to like this place, I really did. The food was good and the service was excellent. Not anymore. We were there the other... day, having an early dinner, sitting at their back patio. The waiter finally arrived and threw the menus down to take our drinkorder. No "hello" or a friendly greeting. It took at least 20 minutes (an early dinner and not too busy) to bring a glass ofwine and a cocktail and he didn't get our orders right. This pub has such a cozy and private atmosphere. My partner and I had such a wonderful time. Bartender was super nice and... helped us with any of our needs. We got the calamari, pub salad, Asian chicken salad, and the pub steak. Everything wasdelicious. We got the Elder drinks and they are ultimately my favorite.
