This review is for improvement purposes. I enjoy eating at Coco?s Kitchen. The food is truly amazing. The only thing I can... negatively comment on is the number of sauce they give for the amount of food (rice, meat, plantains) etc. Today I went in andordered the meal below and received 1 sauce. When I asked for another sauce I was asked to pay $0.80 cents plus tax. I don?tthink with the amount of rice given 1 sauce is sufficient especially when folks order ?dry? plates( fried fish, griot) etc.Instead of assuming folks like ?pikliz? customers should be asked which one they prefer because in my situation I don?t likepikliz (going to waste) when I could have received an extra sauce. This whole situation is like giving someone 1 packet ofketchup for a order of fries. I understand we live in a capitalistic world but there should be a place where businesses draw aline on how they can monetize on items. Read more

I ordered extra meat and got extra fat. The quality of this place has really gone down. When I first started coming here, the... portion size was adequate but now they have a habit of scaling back on the food even when you order extra. I expect to get whatI pay for and not have to suffer for your inability to deal with inflation. In addition, they used to have good customerservice and had very nice packaging, which is what initially what attracted me to the place, even though it?s in a dumpy littleshopping plaza. But boy how things have changed. When I called to let them know how unsatisfied I was with their service andfood rationing, they asked me to come back in. I thought it was to make things right but instead the counter person asked me tocome back to point to a sign that said check your food before you leave. They actually made me come back for that when theycould have told me that over the phone. In fact, what that tells me is that they must have several customers returning theirproduct for one reason or another. I?m sure for similar reasons. I asked to speak to the manager and he proceeded to explainhow he measured out his portions (lol) further minimizing the situation instead of accommodating me, the customer, with betterservice. He continued to explain that I got what I paid for, even though I paid extra. And so I told him that this was not thequality of food or customer service I received when I started coming here and therefore if he didn?t correct the issue I wouldnever come back. He said that was fine and it is for me, but not for him. You see, I walked in there with plain clothes after along day, just wanting something good to eat and some good service. I didn?t receive either. So they have lost me as a customerand because they didn?t take the time to make the situation right nor did they apologize or sympathize for my grievance or formaking me come back there for no reason, I am writing this very honest review. Customer service is Read more
