Chef Qui brings the fire! I recommend ordering the omakase “trust the chef” experience. You will experience a first class... sushi experience. Hand selected cuts of fresh fish, often imported from Japan and treated with the respect high end sushideserves! They do a great job of telling you about the fish and how the taste of the fish progress along the omakase experience.Qui is often up to creative and tasty tricks like dry aging the fish. They have a nice menu of cooked items as well. I highlyrecommend following them on instagram so you can see the frequent speciality items they are flying in and preparing. Hands down the best sushi in South Florida. Besides the sushi being so incredibly fresh and delicious, the hot food is also to... die for. HIGHLY recommend the baby lamb chops as an app and they also have the best shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had.Furthermore, the cocktail menu is divine- I can never go here and not get the yuzu sake martini. Lastly, the staff. They areamazing!!!!! Qui is the owner but he does it all!!!! Waits on tables, works the sushi bar, runs the place and is the sweetest,most hard working restaurant owner I’ve ever met. I clearly cannot say enough good things about this place. We have taken manyof our friends and family here and everyone always says the hype is completely accurate. You will not regret going to Kaizen. Read more
Ate here with friends and the food and service was excellent. I never had to ask for anything before a server checked in to see... if we needed anything. The sushi was fresh and delicious. I’ll absolutely eat here again the next time I’m in FortLauderdale. Read more
