Yesterday was our first dine in experience at Padrino’s since the pandemic. Padrino’s is on my top 5 list of Cuban... restaurants in South Florida. Service was excellent, just as I remembered from pre pandemic visits. Highly recommend orderingthe Cuban Combination (pictured) so that you get to sample mariquitas, croquetas de jamon, picadillo empanadas and fiestatostones. The beef in the empanada is seasoned to perfection. The churrasco (pictured), a skirt steak char-grilled withPadrino’s homemade chimichurri, is my favorite item on the menu. The dish is served with white rice, black beans and sweetplantains. The churrasco was good, but this time around all the flavor came from the Padrino’s homemade chimichurri versus theflavor coming from well-seasoned meat and the sauce. (Even so, I will order it again!) The sweet plantains were A++ last night. If you want Cuban, then you should go to Padrino’s. Order a passion mojito (pictured) while you’re at it. Read more
Padrino’s is delicious! This is my go-to for Cuban food when I’m in the South Florida area. I’ve eaten here several times... and enjoyed each item I’ve ordered. The Bistec de pollo, bistec pan empanizado churrasco and pollo asado are all delicious.The meat portions are all grilled to perfection. The grilled onions accompany each of these dishes and even though I don’tusually care for onions I don’t mind them in these dishes. They come served with a side of rice, beans and plantains. Therice and beans by themselves are flavorful and these are big portions. The plantains are a nice little sweet treat at the end ofthe meal. If I’m looking for something on the lighter side I like the grilled chicken salad which is served with a lightvinaigrette dressing and a thin grilled chicken breast on top of a bed of greens. I also like to order a cafe con leche or acafe Cubano after my meal. They both come perfectly sweetened. Each meal is served with a bread appetizer which is toasted inbutter and garlic. Excellent service, friendly manager, & really great prices for very delicious & authentic Cuban food! The restaurant has a very... romantic atmosphere. The mango caesar salad had a different twist which was so delicious! I loved my Cubano sandwich, perfectlywhat I expected. My husband ordered the Masas de Puerco, & loved the pork chunks. Excellent flavors and food with friendly and fast service. We made reservations for dinner and were seated immediately by our... friendly server Hector. The menu is extensive with some great options and a few twists. The appetizers were a great start and weall wanted more of the black bean salsa. The drinks were delicious and fresh as well. Dinners were excellent with ample portionsand great flavors leaving everyone full so that we only had a couple desserts but those were sweet and delicious as well. Thisis a great place for families or groups. There are a few local locations and I hope the others are as good as this one and Ihope to return again in the future when I'm in the area. Read more

Wow! I love Padrino’s so so much and it has become my favorite restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale! I visit this area 3-4 times a... year and have struggled to find a restaurant our whole party has absolutely loved that is not a big chain. That is until I cameto this amazing place! The food is amazing and excellent quality for the price!! My mother and I went one night, got anappetizer, 2 entrées, dessert, and two coffees all for around $60 before tip! This combined with a wonderful atmosphere andfriendly waitstaff makes Padrino’s the best!! Read more
