When discussing favorite eating places in Rock Hill, SC, my friends always mention the Wagon Wheel as a top contender. Yes, we... have to drive 29 minutes / 24 miles to a different county/city but it is well worth it. Secret: order an appetizer of a smallside of fried squash. You will be flabbergasted at the size of this with fried squash "paddles" on a large plate. They slice thesquash lengthwise. Their "Meat and two sides" are delicious and portions always requiring a to go box. Highly recommend. Read more

My husband and I love the Wagon Wheel Restaurant for lunch and dinner. We have taken our friends with us and everyone agrees... that it's well worth the trip there. The food has always been excellent and the fried yellow squash is an absolute delicacy. Welove the salad bar and sometimes make that our meal.
