I had an operation in the morning and thus couldn't eat breakfast so my wife being the loving woman she is bought me a chicken... sandwich and sweet potato fries and despite being extremely hungry as I hadn't eaten for over 14hrs I was unable to stomach whatthey call food the fries were burnt to a crisp and dried out to the point that I could probably put them in a fish tank andabsorb all the water and the chicken was crispy but again so over cooked I was like eating sand from a desert very disappointingconsidering I had previously eaten here a while ago and found the food to be quite good for the price however I won't be eatinghere ever again do not recommend anyone ordering the crispy chicken sandwich or sweet potato fries. Just ordered 2 chicken sandwich?s combos almost 40 dollars, get home no fry?s nothing burgers made wrong, called them to get it... corrected to receive ignorance. I will never go there again. Read more
I have tried to eat at this Joey's location twice in the last week. The first time I showed up to order takeout 10 minutes... prior to the posted closing time and was told that they had already cleaned up and were not taking orders. The second time Iarrived at 8:38 to eat in and after waiting 10 minutes before the waitress came out to talk to us was told that they are nolonger seating guests. For a dinner restaurant in a town where a large portion of the residents work 12 hour shift work, thisis unacceptable. Many workers do not even get home from work until 8pm and are unable to eat at this restaurant as a result. Management need to have a serious review of open hours and seating practices. I will not return to this restaurant again untilsomething changes. Read more
Just had famous fish n chips at joeys n were soooo disappointed. In Both trays our fish was drenched in oil it was literally... dripping with every bite even after so much pressing in napkins. It was too greasy to eat total letdown. Read more
