The first time we visited boondocks a few months ago they had fantastic food and it was good size helpings. This time we weren't... impressed. The food was average and portions were smaller and less tasty. It lost it's zing. Read more
Everything I had was delicious. Hushpuppies had a nice spice to them, fried apples were sweet, sweet potato I added honey and... was delicious. Chicken was hot and juicy. Only thing was understaffed so took forever to get food. Read more
I just ate here and not only was the food very, very good. My waitress Renee gave me the red carpet treatment. She was patient... with us with the menu because we haven't been here before, so it took a little while for us to order. When asking her questionsabout how much food was an item to was the gumbo spicy. She never hesitate and gave me an accurate detail on what I would expectif I order a particular item. 1. Many Dirty dishes and abandoned food items were left for me to look at while I dined.. 2. Food was disappointing and over... priced.... 3. Service was HORRIBLE !!!! It took about 45 minutes to get my fish and chips, because the waitress forgot to put inmy order..... Happend to the folks behind me too, listened to them grumble for a while and then the dominate female of the groupspoke up and complained. Overall, I wish I would have just stayed home and I am seriously not a picky guy, at all !
