We have been to AJs on santa rosa blvd several times throughout our vacation, and each time we are completely satisfied. Food,... and service has been TOP NOTCH! We had pepper our first night, and she was fantastic, and really set the mood for our vacation.Highly recommend peel & eat shrimp, the creole red fish special, Ajs sunset ale, mind relief cocktail, and the tailgate nachosof in season. Husband also recommendeds the oysters. Will definitely be returning during our next stay!!!!! Read more
Don't let the negative reviews keep you from having some really good (sea)food! I almost went somewhere else, based on some of... the reviews about this place. I'm so glad I didn't! Check it -- This is the ONLY place I've been where, after eating my meal, Ididn't feel hungry .. and that's saying something! I ordered the Fried Shrimp and I am extremely pleased. Never before have Ibitten into a Shrimp and have it fill my mouth. And, mmMMmm! Delicious! We went early to beat the crowd. Got there at 16:00 andhad no problem getting a table. Great location, plenty of parking. The food was spectacular. I had the baked oyster sampler, and I am a connoisseur of oysters,... these were good. Server was phenomenal. They offer live music daily which is neat. I would recommend if you like oysters and agood atmosphere. Read more
Nice restaurant, with live music, and karaoke some nights. The crab cakes were delicious. Huge burgers. We also really enjoyed... the shrimp appetizer, more than enough for two people. Read more

Visited this AJ's thinking it's another AJ's, we were on a road trip and got misled ... Pepper was our server, she was... friendly, efficient and attentive. High marks for her. Seafood though, not good. Firecracker Shrimps were ok. Baked OysterSampler was lukewarm. Worst, my fish was undercooked, raw and cold inside. Sent it back, a gentleman came to our table whilebeing apologetic, he said sometimes the oven cooked unevenly ... Hmmm, quite an interesting explanation. Hope this was just anone time mistake.
