I've been to Don Hall's factory for prime rib and it's amazing... this is nothing like it... tasteless and poor quality beef,... potatoes, and "au jus" ... smothered it in horseradish sauce to get it down... maybe their sandwiches are better.. The hubby and I stopped in this gem while out of town for the day to get some dental work. We went in because the outside of... the building looked rustic and possibly southwestern barbecue in style. When we got in there is wasn't as rustic as the outsideand almost seemed more upscale. We ordered the prime rib with au jus. That was a mistake, because what was served wa a hugeslice prime rib roast instead of shaved sitting on top of white bread soaked to snot texture with au jus. We also ordered aregular burger for my son. That was not a mistake. It was thick and juicy and filled with fresh veggies! The other dishescoming from the kitchen smelled and looked amazing! Paid over $12 for a chef salad and the tomatoes were so mushy and taste bad, the problem there were so many to pick out of the... salad. When I took the salad back for a refund the elderly woman that runs the register was so rude, not even an apology. Icould only get a credit not my money back. Read more
