Catering review! Shigs in Pit catered our wedding in September 2022. They were very easy to work with and even allowed us to... have food that wasn?t on their standard catering menu? breakfast! We knew Shigs in Pit was great but had never had theirbreakfast food before, and we didn?t taste test it before the big day. It was *incredible.* They catered chicken and waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, country style potatoes, and fruit (+ drink package). Everything was so tasty and it wasdefinitely a crowd pleaser for our wedding dinner! :?) Thank you!!! Read more

I think I have found my new favorite BBQ location in the city. Their food has some great flavors and the portion sizes are very... generous. The staff were friendly and I was extremely impressed with just how quickly my food was ready after completing myorder. I will definitely be back and will recommend this location to all my friends. I have been to this location a few times usually for dine-in but have taken carry out a couple of times. Due to surgery recovery... I decided to try delivery and I was so disappointed. I barely live a mile from the location. My delivery was on time and I didget what I ordered. The brisket was tasty although a little drier than normal. The fries were fantastic. I tried the Mac attackwith pulled pork and was really disappointed. The macaroni and cheese was pretty bland. I'm sure the pulled pork was great but Iwould have it by itself. The potato casserole seemed short on potatoes and the cornflake topping did not travel well at all. Themost disappointing of all were the ribs. I have had them before and they were fabulous but these were dry and tough. I spent $50to have two meals delivered so I could have leftovers a few times. That's a lot of money to not be able to look forward to theleftovers. I might eat in again but surely would not get delivery. Read more

I got the pulled pork, Mac n cheese, and the potato casserole. I would not eat here again. The portion of meat was small and... plain. The Mac n cheese was good the first few bites but the green chili's quickly overpowered the flavor, not to mention it wasvery soupy with cheese. I was absolutely NOT a fan of the potato casserole. The corn flakes made it weird. Also soupy, and Icouldn't bear continuing to eat this as the flavor mad me want to gag. I might eat the pulled pork again but that's the onlything I'd eat. Read more
