Ohhhh my gosh. This place is my new favorite restaurant! But like... for real. I seriously couldn’t wait to leave the... restaurant to write my review! Lol. My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and it could not have been more perfect.Cozy, refined, and romantic. We started with the garlic bread and house salads. 10/10. Order these. Seriously so delicious. Iordered the Tortellini Aventino for dinner and I would order it again for dessert if I could. BUT it was a lot of food. Myhusband ordered the lasagna and it basically melted in his mouth. The literal words that came out of his mouth were “this isphenomenal”. They were short staffed but you couldn’t tell with the service we were given. They have an extremely nicegroup of people working there. I will tell the world about them. Read more

Small intimate place, quiet; friendly staff. Very good food will return!

Love this longtime Fort Worth Italian restaurant. It's been closed - reopened - closed again and NOW ..crossing my fingers... opened for good! (It's probably been reopened for 7 to 10 years now.. lol) They have the best cannelloni and tortellini intown..hands down. Like - I love it. Always perfectly prepared as you'd expect it to be at an authentic Italian restaurant. Much less expensive and better than some of the "dress code/high dollar" establishments. They provide house bread - free ofcharge or you can order garlic bread - 5 pieces for $8. Salads come with entrees. Today's salad was super fresh & nicelypresented. We tried Aventino's for my wife's birthday because or excellent reputation. We ordered meatballs as an appetizer and they were... thoroughly unimpressive though a generous portion. They seemed to have been prepared wholly without any art or seasoning. Whenthe waitress saw that we were not eating the meatballs she asked what we thought and we said that they were not very good. Herresponse, rather than suggesting a remedy, was that she likes them. We did not press the issue and moved on to or entrees. Mywife ordered salmon Florentine and I ordered the chicken Cacciatore. Her salmon was overcooked and dry. My Chicken was decentbut again nothing worth the cost of admission. I would not even rank Aventino's in the top ten of Italian restaurants in FortWorth. It is easily beaten out by restaurants that are much more economical as well as others in its own price range. Theatmosphere was nice, but the experience was quite disappointing overall. Read more
