I remembered to take a picture this time BEFORE I tore this up. Delicious seasoning and moisture in this delectable fried... chicken!! Sides are tasty as well but the chicken is the STAR ?? here!! We went on Saturday afternoon for lunch, the food was great. I loved the fried chicken. My friend had the pork chops and said... they were tender and delicious! We also had dessert - peach cobbler which was warm, edges were crunchy and felt like it had beenprepared especially for me! My friend had a slice of sweet potato pie and said she loved it. I love this place. I love the food. Their fried chicken is the bomb.com. ????. The collard greens are amazing. It's fresh and... hot and decent portions. Despite being short staffed I was welcomed immediately. I was seated and my order taken within 10 minutes. Food was prepared... fairly quickly. The greens and sweet potatoes were really good. The pork chops were tender but lacked the seasoning I hadanticipated. The cornbread was good. I ordered the fried chicken with macaroni and sweet potatoes for my daughter. She devouredit. I ordered a slice of pecan pie and sweet potato pie. The pecan pie was delicious. My daughter enjoyed her pie as well. Veryreasonably priced. Staff was courteous and professional. I think there was only 3 people working. They were managing a lunchtime rush with a smile. They are definitely worth a try. Read more
