Although I don't have a sweet tooth, I liked their danish and cheesecake. They are not too sweet, I found them to be the right... amount of sweet. My wife who loves desserts also liked it. They have nice seating areas both indoor and outdoor. Nice employees.Although I didn't try their other items, they looked delicious to me. We are gonna go again soon to try the other items. Okay.. I am a frequent customer and I absolutely love the food! However, I am incredibly disappointed that I have ordered... delivery for the pasta for 12$ and didn?t even get a full container? it is the size of a kids meal cup! I didn?t even get thebreadstick that comes with every time. I don?t believe it?s fair that they give not even a half portion for a to-go order whereI have to spend more; just because I?m not physically in their restaurant. If they are expecting us to receive less whenordering to-go, please? lower your price! Read more

I came here with a group of ladies for a #momsnightout and even checked Yelp before ordering. So I was between the Nutella crepe... and the chicken salad croissant. I went with the half croissant and tomato soup, delicious choice!! The pace of service remindsme of Panera Bread or Jason?s Deli where you order your cafe-style food and then take your assigned table marker, or in thiscase a wooden spoon, to your table. The staff will bring your food to your table. The drink selection did include freshunsweetened tea and mango tea (unsweetened), select coffee choices, and a soda fountain. The mango tea was quite good! Inormally prefer sugar but I love a strong fruit tea so it worked for me. After eating my chicken salad croissant I ended mydinner with a fruit cheesecake, so good! The berries on top were fresh and the the actual cheesecake was the perfect size tosavor and not be stuffed. The staff were all pleasant and even turned down the ac for us when we requested it, the party roomgot pretty stuffy! The tables were clean and drink station sanitary. Good experience! Read more

High expectations but a flat performance. Just enough to get 3 stars for being good, but not worth the $50 I spent for Saturday... brunch. We each had a nouveau breakfast (avocado toast topped with an egg), but the egg was over cooked and the avocado underseasoned. The cinnamon roll ?French toast? was more like a cinnamon roll that had just been heated on a flat top. The cafelatte had no sugar (or flavor). The best part of the meal were the lemon tarts, which are good but not worth $5 each. With thenumber of small diner/bistro restaurants in the area, we won?t be back soon, except maybe for a quick lunch when we want to tryagain. Read more

I don?t know what had happened to this restaurant. Before COVID it was one of our favorite restaurants in this area. Today was... our first visit after Covid, we ordered chicken Parisian with tomato basil soup, and Basalmic salmon with steam/boiled broccolion the side. The food came over, it was different to my expectation. The salmon cooked well, but the broccoli was giant liketrees ????and there was standing water on the plate?. the salmon and broccoli staying in the standing water on the plate?. Thebasil soup was used very good, but until toward the end of the meal and reminding them the soup, the waitress brought the soup, but she held the plate close to her face and also talking to us ,actually she spoke to the soup?- her saliva probably on thesurface of the soup?.We didn?t have the soup? She brought coffee, and she held coffee close to her face as well? and she wastalking, mouth to the coffee? During the time when we were eating, several fruit flies was flying around in the restaurant, oneof those on my plate? Also this place asked us to pay tips before we got any service! Hopefully this place returns to how goodthey were. Read more

I really wanted to like everything, but my wife's sandwich was supposed to have cheese and horseradish and it only had the meat... and bread. Although the dipping sauce tasted great, that detracted from the overall experience. My sandwich was delicious with afinely crusted bread, egg, and melted cheese I thoroughly enjoyed. The tomato and basil soup contained and ambundance of flavorswithout a salty base. I hope to go back and try again for a better experience and most of it was delicious. Read more

I personally really enjoy the Madelene, for its Ceasar?s salad, French onion and Tomato basil soups but recently I have seen... this location decline in Presidio. I came here at 2:30 pm Sunday and usually this time around it?s slow so my hubby I thought wegive it a second chance since last time the tomato soup was burnt and they insisted that it?s always been that way but one knowsbetter so I figure I put it a side and continue with my Ceasar salad but today? All the tables including the patio was coveredwith dirty dishes while a couple of employees fooled around in the bakery, seriously what happen to first impression and mostimportantly if your short staff hire more employees don?t over work your employees- business gets sloppy! ?makes me think aboutthe poor job they do delivering the food. My Ceasar was probably mixed in a bowl that was sitting during the lunch hours wherethe old salad was still sitting in the bowl where it had been mixed and my chicken was rewarmed what seemed in the microwavesince it had that after smell/taste. Honestly, I?m done here. I hope a new manager comes around and straighten this place upbefore more poor rating come around. Good luck! Read more
