This was our first time here on our way to a concert in Indy. I made a reservation via OpenTable. We arrived a little before... 5:30 and our table was ready. We were sat in the back by the kitchen (not the best first impression vibe). Our waitress, Tammy, was super quirky and fun. She was informative, shared her recommendations and was on it with drink refills. We did starters -goat cheese marinara and the calamari. Both were delicious and had good flavor. My husband had the beef Manhattan which he saidwas good. I had the chicken sandwich ben style and it was tasty! My friend had the fish tacos, which she said we're a littlebland. She said all the flavor was just spice in the sauce but there wasn't any other flavor in the fish. We shared a loadedcornbread and it was pretty good too. Overall we give it an 8/10 for atmosphere, service and food. Food alone 7/10. There isn'tanything super exciting that would put this on the list of must go back. Cute place, cute town, good vibes, but the food couldbe just a touch more unique and flavorful. Read more

This place is basically a dive bar trying to pull off a Michelin menu. Lots of fancy options that simply miss the mark. Of the... four items we had all of them were either just not good or not what we ordered. The service was friendly but slow. They don'thave a beer menu, but they have a cocktail and wine list. For the price we will not be returning. Read more

I am under the impression the review stars are from the food & not the service. Since we walked in the door it has been rough.... Front desk host stated after being asked if you have a gluten free menu "we have gluten free buns, veggies and meat...so yeahthat will do it." We sat down and were asked to show ID. We stated we were not going to be drinking. He stated that they have tocard all people in order to eat there. So FYI, no kids..which is not posted outside the door, regarding the ID check required. The list could go on. Cool rustic place, not worth it for terrible customer service. Read more

A surprising gem in Fortville with the quality and variety you'd find in a bigger city. I let them decide for me and ended up... with one of the top 3 pork chops (pork ribeye) I've had. My dining buddy ordered the Beef Manhattan, which was a beautiful pileof open-faced, gravy smothered love. We split the loaded corn bread and both decided it could be served on its own with a sideof their mashed potatoes. Don't underestimate the food in Indiana. Read more

4.75 this place is nearly a 5 star experience. The value per serving is way above average and the quality and portion size. ... Worth leaving the big city for this 30 minute drive to Fortville for this phenomenal dining experience. Pictured are: beefwellington, fish tacos, fajitas, salad, and a side. Read more
