We were seated immediately as it was only about half full, but after we ordered, it took 25 minutes for food to come. A couple... of us ordered the same menu item, one as listed and the other with sour cream on the side and no shrimp. When they brought itout, he immediately realized the mistake and said he'd go fix it, then brought it back with the sour cream again for whateverreason. After we started eating them, we realized that they had given the altered dish without the shrimp to the wrong person.We ordered an unsweetened tea and they brought sweet instead. Our waitress let drinks go empty and at one point, we went to thebar to order drinks ourselves. Overall, the food was what you'd expect for any Mexican restaurant, but the service wasn't great. Cute place and some of the staff are very friendly. Some were aloof and I guess don't know how to smile or were having bad... days. Lots of kids everywhere, but, it's Franklin. You either get college students or families. We sat at the bar expectingquicker service, but things took twice as long. It took 25 minutes for my burrito bowl to come to the table and I am the onlyone who had an entree. Food is OK. Not much seasoning or spice on anything. I had a burrito bowl which was ok, but the saladgreens were not dressed leaving me to top it with salsa. The house made hot salsa was not hot. I found the food bland, but, I'ma Hoosier now living in California and I like my spicy spicy and my food very flavorful. Top shelf margarita was made withorange juice, despite the menu stating it wasn't. I do not like those types of margaritas, but, c'est la vie. We loved it there! The service was good and the food was great - wait time was really short!
I always get "to go" because I work nearby. Portions are generous and the food is always good. Excellent guacamole. Staff is... always friendly and accommodating. It is a little pricey, but I understand costs of goods and good staff will drive that. Lostone star due to meat always being dry; in all fairness, I always get the carnitas bowl; it might just be the shredded pork. Read more

This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. The chips were crispy and fresh, and the salsa was a bit chunky... with lots of fresh roasted tomato and pepper flavors and vibrant as well. The queso had a bit of a spicy kick to it that all ofus enjoyed. My son ordered the Arroz Con Pollo off the kid's menu, and loved every bite. My wife couldn't stop raving about theCarne Azada specialty plate. Lots of delicious food with great flavors which is what my wife said. I ordered the Tacos de Florde Calavaza, and they were delicious. Fresh squash blossoms in a taco with corn, tomatoes, avocados, queso fresco and molcajetesauce. Light and delicious meal. I topped it off with a side of Spicy fresh veggies and quinoa. Fresh zucchini, squash and onionperfectly cooked in a very spicy and flavorful tomato sauce. Wow. I couldn't stop eating those veggies because it was sodelicious. Even with my mouth burning I enjoyed each and every bite. It is not for the faint of heart because of the spicelevel.
