Great food, fast friendly service. Reminds me of the old days in Brooklyn when my grandmother shopped at the Italian deli.
I?ve known George the owner for so many years before he owned this place ! He was always my favorite cook when we worked... together, he would make me a gyro I would be so happy! Now My husband and I go here for his gyros, his sandwiches, his salads,and his ravioli!! Some of the freshest food I?ve ever had! I love it here ! I wish we lived closer :) Read more
I didn't realize how spoiled I was when I lived in the EssexBergenHudson area for so much of my life until I moved to the food... desert that is Sussex County. The restaurant options are limited and what's here is just not all that great. And then a fewyears ago I found Savioli's and my search for a great, authentic Italian deli came to an end. I've had most of their differentsandwich options but my go-to is "The Sicilian" - you can't go wrong. High quality meats piled on top of savory bread with freshtoppings. Their house made roasted red peppers make anything delicious! I don't get here enough but when I do I know it will beworth the trip a little out of my way. Also, the owner and staff are always great.
