We found this place on Google maps and gave it a shot as we were passing through Franklin. We all loved the burgers and fries... and the guy running the place was super nice. He was short staffed but kept everything going. He gave us a heads up that itmight take awhile which was no problem for us. It didn't take long at all but it was worth it. Loved sitting outside too! Burger Dandy is absolutely an experience Extremely simple burger shack for the most part. However, the food is absolutely... fantastic. I loved Grilled Onions and their biggest has the BEST grilled onions I?ve had!! Their Big burger is fairly massive.Portions overall are on the bigger size, which helps to justify the price you pay: To no fault of Burger Dandy, the biggestdisadvantage is parking. They have some parking and some dedicated to-go parking spaces. But if you go while it?s busy, beprepared to go park at one of the local garages and walk. Make sure to prepare your trip in advance and find a close garage ifyou aren?t familiar with FT Franklin! Extremely family friendly and an amazing outdoor patio to use when it?s nice outside.They have some patio games to keep your kids engaged while you wait for your food! If you are in the downtown Franklin area, Ihighly recommend checking it out. With the sheer volume of amazing burger places in Franklin and the parking situation, it?s abit hard to justify going to DT just for Burger Dandy. But if you are close, absolutely go!! Read more
Waited 30 minutes for two burgers and fries with only three other tables occupied. Order came out wrong. Waited another 10... minutes for our fries to be corrected to chili cheese fries before we just told them to forget it because we already finishedour meal. No apologies, no accommodations, no refunds. Upcharge for tomatoes and lettuce is excessive. Also not what I'dconsider a smash burger. Not thin and no crispy edges. Shake and pie were good, but pretty hard to mess those up. $55 for a veryaverage meal. We will not be back. Read more
