The food here is great. The server didn't act like she had time for us. She rarely checked on us and when she did it was very... rushed. They weren't busy when we went so that wasn't a reason for being rushed. The atmosphere was OK. Read more

Giving Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom five stars in all categories is quite honestly an easy decision. As someone who travels to... the area for business on a regular basis, I've tried my share of restaurants in the area. I don't think any other localrestaurant comes close, when considering the food, service, atmosphere and price. The food is great and is very reasonablypriced. My favorite dish is the Chicken Bacon Mac and Cheese, but there's plenty to choose from. Everything I've tried has beenwell worth the price and they don't keep you waiting, even on a Saturday night. The staff is extremely friendly. I prefer tosit at the bar and have never had a bad experience. They're attentive, while not smothering. It's not difficult to feel at home.I appreciate that, considering how far I actually am from home. With regard to the atmosphere, I'd say it's very comfortable.It's not a particularly loud place, but not quiet in any way that I'd consider stuffy. One last item: The beer selection isvery good and not overpriced. All in all, I highly recommend this establishment. In my opinion, they're doing everything right. Read more
