Updated 5/20/22 Tonight we were very disappointed in the quality of the food (The wait staff were fantastic though). Despite... waiting to order until the kitchen got caught up from a number of large parties that were seated before us being served theirfood, the quality of our food did not match the description nor the pictures in the menu. The tattooed brick chicken wasovercooked, and had three teeny pieces of potato and one piece of onion with the bed of spinach, with none of the abundance ofvegetables that appear in the picture in the menu. The half bird hot chicken was extremely overcooked and not batteredconsistently, causing the meat to be very dry and in some parts the chicken wasn't even covered by breading so those parts ofthe chicken itself had the consistency of jerky. Updated 12/1/21 Still good Went for an early lunch and it wasn't crowded andthe food was served fast and hot, which was surprising as one of the items was a fried, 1/2 bird. The Nashville Hot wasdescribed by the waitress (excellent service by Danika BTW) as very spicy, and it did have a good heat level, but not hot enoughfor sweating/hiccups/coughing. It did have an interesting flavor profile as there was a sweet undertone at the start and then anice spice flavor finish. The 1/2 bird was moist, even the breast, but it would have been even better if there was a brinedflavor to the meat. The collard greens were cooked well and very tasty. My friend got the four tenders at the same spice leveland he thought they were very good. The pickles were very tasty and had a nice crunch to them because they seemed to befresh-made and not out of a jar, and were giant size slices compared to some of the teeny pickles that are often served withNashville hot chicken. A picture is worth a thousand words. THIS is their "whole beer can chicken" $20. What I was able to eat (the leg) had a good... flavor, but required the use of the Alabama white sauce it is served with for moisture. I DID verify that this is how this dish"typically" comes out of the kitchen. This is NOT what a beer can chicken should look like. The skin has petrified into a hardshell around the desert dry meat. There is more seasoning on the outside then there is moisture on the inside and the bones havenearly cremated to allow for ease in breaking away from the can. This chicken leather is served up daily for your enjoyment!!???? Read more

Ordered the half chicken poultrygeist despite the look of deep concern on the face of my very kind waitress and her admonitions.... Probably the hottest meal I've ever eaten, on par with those internet hot challenges like Johnny Scoville's Tube of Terror andthe Death Nut Challenge. Afterwards the habanero garnish felt cool and soothing in comparison. The chicken? Moist anddelicious as far as I could tell. UPDATE: After trying all of the other hot chicken places, I returned and tried the halfchicken Poultrygeist again. This time it wasn't nearly as hot. Roughly tied with Hattie B's hottest. Desensitized? That's what Ithought but this time the Habanero was scorching. Waitress said that sometimes they don't stir the pot so you can get an***extra hot Poultrygeist*** from deep in the bottom of the pot. The lack of consistency is disappointing, but leaving the 5stars since the normal Poultrygeist is delicious. Read more

I'm not exactly sure why people attempt to do Southern food when they have no clue what it is. Southern food is a lost art, and... it's lost on this place. Massive chunks of chicken smattered in some kind of hot sauce do not make "Nashville hot chicken". Thisplace is overpriced and underwhelming. The nachos were terrible: just dry chips, some avocado, and a little bit of sour creamlumped together with some bits of fried chicken. Nothing tying it together such as a sauce. Give me a break. You can't getnachos right? Read more

Ate here with my daughter, she got the grilled cheese, I got the hot chicken and cheddar sandwich both with fries, very generous... portions, the chipotle Rance dipping sauce was very good. I got the sandwich in medium heat which was hotter than I thought, should have gotten the mild. But overall the good was good, service was very good, would definitely go back with the rest of thefamily. Read more
