I?m only giving a 1 because I have to choose a star. I love Steak n Shake but this one made me dislike the place. I placed my... order. I was the only one waiting for my order as they were not busy inside. I sat down and waited for my food to come. (I justpulled a 3 hour drive and had to get my son to his overnight testing site. Wrecks turned out trip into a 3 and half hour trip) Iwaited and waited for my food to come. Another customer came in and I assume she ordered online. This was 7 mins after me. Shestood by the counter. Management came out and spoke to her to reassure her that her food would be out shortly and apologized forher waiting. She hadn?t been there 5 minutes yet. When I received my food finally I checked my fries. (The food had been sittingin the back in a bag for sometime now and another manager walked to the back asking why they haven?t sent food out yet)They werenot fresh and not too warm at all. I was too tired and too irritated to stop the manager while he kept talking to the customerbehind me. He never acknowledged me at all. I told myself my burger should still be warm once we get to our room since it?s 5mins away. Needless to say my burger was not warm when I began eating my food 10 mins later. Had the western burger and it was great. Shake was delicious. For fast food, you really can't beat it. They have downsized... their menu, and I was disappointed to see that the royal burger was no longer available. Read more
This is the first time I've visited this restaurant in quite a while, and boy have things changed! But that's not necessarily a... bad thing. It's gone from full service to counter service and a simplified menu. Kudos to them for keeping up with the times. Read more

The burgers are good but the fries are not. You make your order on a machine when you enter. The machine is very confusing and... we ended up ordering two milkshakes more than we needed. Food was not worth the money we ended up spending. Read more
