Amazing food place in Nashville, probably one of the best. We got the Chilli cheese etoufee with crawfish, drunken chicken and... chorizo etoufee and all of them were awesome. Prices are incredibly within range - 10 dollars for a half and half plate(including taxes). So nice to see such amazing food delivered at reasonable prices! Read more
I can not say enough GOOD things about how DELICIOUS this place is! My wife and I eat here every time we pass it! Every. Time!... And it's worth it. Everything we tried is absolutely delicious! I would like to start by saying I was so excited to try this restaurant seeing as though I?ve heard great things about it and... I?m an expecting mother that has been craving Creole food; but I soon realized that this was yet another failed attempt toreceive good food and fair customer service in Nashville. I entered the restaurant and I went to the counter and I was asked ifthis was my first visit; in which I so proudly said yes and explained that I have friends that stop by whenever they?re in town.I was given my options from the menu; which I ordered the Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo, and Jambalaya. Which were all a completefail in my opinion. I?ve never had sweet Red Beans and Rice and the the Gumbo and Jambalaya were just plan nasty. I haveliterally had better Creole food from a Zatarain?s box. To add insult to injury for the very mediocre food that I subsequentlyput in the trash after I got home; there was a Caucasian couple directly behind me and they approached the register after Imoved to end of the bar to await my order and they were greeted very nicely and asked if it was they?re first time as well butthe associate asked if they would they like to sample all of the options before ordering. That was so disheartening because Istood there with feelings of, why couldn?t I have received that same type of customer service because I definitely would havewanted to try the other options as well even though the ones I selected were not good at all in my opinion. Sadly to say I toldmy husband this story who is none African American and my friends that recommended this restaurant and we all agreed that wewould never return to the restaurant!!!! Read more
