Delicious food and friendly staff. They were quite busy since it was a Saturday morning, however service was very reasonable.... The prices are outstanding and the food is delicious. They even have a breakfast buffet. On the way out I also discovered thatthey have a beautiful patio. It wasn't open in November, but this is the first place I'm taking my very picky parents when theyvisit next spring. Go support this family business. You won't be disappointed. Read more
Really disappointed in the quality of food and service. I was given old disgusting food that I believe has given me salmonella... which I reported to the health department. There was a drain fly infestation which is easy to get rid of so it shows that thebar or restaurant isn?t kept clean. The waitress was a little rude and inattentive. She didn?t even acknowledge us. A simpleglance and I?ll be with you in a minute or how is everything was all you have to do. I?ve worked in the food industry for over10 years which is the only reason I left a tip otherwise I don?t see her making very much besides from her regulars. I alsonever received an itemized receipt which seems a little shady to me. The prices were decent and I like supporting localbusinesses especially ones with history. I?d recommend a manager on the floor, a new POS, food safety training, training oncleanliness and customer service training. I don?t think I saw the waitress clean one table after she cleared it. My tablepersonally had crumbs all over it and the seat. I also didn?t see the bar wiped down as well. We eat at Fred's quite often. But this time was a disappointment. I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich with supposedly creamy... mashed potatoes. They were creamy after I mashed them with my fork and they were not hot. The roast beef was full of gristle andit tasted a little off. The dinner roll was so hard when I tapped it on the table it started to crumble. The service was verygood the girl was very nice but this visit to Fred's was a big disappointment.
